Muharram Art Competition

Salaam Alaykum everyone!

We are proud to present to you… the first Muharram Art Competition!
Open to everyone, anywhere, and of all ages!
We hope you all take this opportunity to express your connection with the family of the Prophet (saw).

We will be posting your submissions on our Facebook, twitter and Instagram pages as well!

In order to make the judgment fair, we have divided the competition into 4 categories
o Painting
o Drawings
o Photographs
o Digital art

Deadline: November 16, 2013
Send us your work on perfection.seek@gmail.com
Give us your name, where you are from, your age and contact details

Rules for the competition:
• Submit a clear photograph/scan of the work
• Should be done by yourself
• Tell us what materials you used
• Submit a paragraph with the work
o At least 200 words, not more than 250 words
o What does the art mean? – How does it relate to your relationship with Imam (as) or Muharram

UMMA magazine uses our artwork

We recently got an e-mail from brother Mustafa Karim, he was in the process of putting together a magazine for UMAA for its annual convention. UMMA America holds a convention on an annual basis and this year it will be in Michigan and the theme is Imam Ali (as) – Meeting the challenges of the 21st Century.

Brother Mustafa was requesting to use an artwork created by the Seekperfection team that would feature in the magazine, we were more than overwhelmed with the hearing. The art work in question was Kofi Annan’s quote on Imam Ali (a.s).

Imam Hussain Flyer – Tanzania

The team has designed and printed flyers to spread awareness of the third Imam, Imam Hussain (a.s). There are two sets of flyer; one in English and the other in the native tongue of Tanzania; Kiswahili. We will start distributing flyers across Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday the 24th of November. Across Masaki, Msasani, Mickocheni, Town centre, Upanga, Kariakoo, Temeke.

Our message is simple, we want to give answers and reasons as to why we call Imam Hussain(a.s.) the saviour of mankind, who he really was. Why Ashura and why Hussain? The event and the personalities are lessons for the whole of mankind to ponder upon.

 

Please try and share this post in any way possible, be it through social media or e-mails. Please lets at least gain one value from our Imam.

Flyer to educate public about the last Prophet (Muhammed)

Project Prophet Muhammed A project to spread awareness of the True Prophet and the True Islam. We will start distributing flyers across Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday the 22nd of September. We muslims unite against the disrespect against the Holy Prophet of Islam, in the manner in which the Prophet has advised us to. We ask for those who have wronged to realized their mistake and to repent. “O My servants who have transgressed against their own souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah.
